About the Summit

Pakistan's Women in AI

Held on May 31st as part of AI Fest 2025 by The Society 5.0 Initiative — under the flagship WECON Movement by Change Mechanics Pvt. Ltd. — this was more than a summit. It was a clarion call for inclusion, leadership, and innovation led by women in AI.

In a world increasingly shaped by algorithms and automation, women must not be sidelined. Without their meaningful participation, AI systems risk entrenching the very inequalities we aim to dismantle. This summit directly addressed Pakistan's glaring gender gap in tech — not just through dialogue, but through action.

The summit laid the groundwork for pathways that will help reshape the AI landscape to be more inclusive and equitable — where women are not just users of AI, but architects of its future.

Key Goal

Launch Pakistan's first Gender Equity Action Plan for AI — with a target of 40% female participation in AI by 2030.

Initiative

Building the Women in AI Network Pakistan — a scalable ecosystem for mentorship, funding, and policy advocacy.
